A double clamshell that, at first glance, looks like it's sideways but that's actually the best part about it - it's designed so you load the quilt's long sides on the rollers and stitch the pattern along the long sides (so fewer roll-ons needed to cover the whole quilt). Then, when you unload and turn the quilt the right way around the clamshell points are pointing down! Less work for the same result :) Looks great on masculine and Japanese quilts.
